Charlie [Pickard] — Pastoral Leader, Communicator, Creative

Hi, I'm Charlie — a pastoral resident and communicator currently completing my degree at San Diego State University. Over the past several months I've been immersed in ministry leadership: preparing and delivering sermons, leading a house church, and co-leading a college prayer team — work that has sharpened how I communicate clearly, listen carefully, and lead under pressure.

Alongside that, I bring hands-on experience in safety and instruction from my role at the YMCA, plus a self-taught background in photography and cinematic video editing that I use to tell meaningful stories. Whether I'm behind a pulpit, a camera, or in conversation with someone I'm mentoring, I care about clear communication, disciplined preparation, and genuine attention to people.
